We are so proud to announce the recipient of the Nola & Associates Women in the Building Trades Scholarship, Aislinn Palardy. Aislinn is a South Berwick, Maine resident and a Marshwood 2026 graduate.
Aislinn’s story is one of resilience, determination, and purpose. After experiencing the devastating loss of her family home in a fire in 2021, she saw firsthand the challenges of rebuilding—not just a house, but a sense of stability and home. That experience shaped her path and inspired her to pursue a future in the building trades.
Through her time at Sanford Regional Technical Center, she discovered a passion for hands-on work and found her place in the Building Trades program, where she has learned valuable skills and taken pride in helping build something meaningful from the ground up. Her goal is not only to succeed in a traditionally male-dominated field, but to use her talents to help others facing hardship and to create spaces that bring comfort, safety, and hope to families and communities.
Her strength, heart, and commitment to making a difference embody exactly what this scholarship was created to support, and we are honored to be a small part of her journey.
Congratulations, Aislinn— we can’t wait to see all that you accomplish.
